Online Yoga Classes

Monday
  • 10:30am-11:45am PST Mandala Flow Yoga on zoom with registration through Breathe Together Yoga ~ preregistration by 10am required. Mandala means circle or essence, while the term, “flow” has been recognized across cultures as a state known as the “action of inaction” or “doing without doing.” A flow state is characterized as complete absorption, referred to as eighth limb in yoga, or Samadhi. Mandala Flow offers an embodied inquiry into stability within fluidity, because life is inherently in motion (and especially in this part of the world). This creative, progressive breath-based moving meditation explores the wise use of vital energy, experiments in balance and being present. Benefits of sustained practice include strength, balance and flexibility, but most essentially, a greater capacity to meet each moment with grace and intelligence.

  • 8:30AM-9:30AM PST Adaptive Yoga on zoom ~ preregistration required – starts June 18, 2020. Adaptive Yoga is a practice for anyone interested in a slow paced yoga class that adapts postures to meet the needs of individual students. Postures and movements which improve balance, strength and flexibility may be modified with yoga props so that those who need to adjust postures due to restrictions of the body can fully participate in a group class setting. This class is for all ages. It will be gentle enough for beginners as well as comprehensive for more experienced students. Each class in this six week sequence will build on principles taught in previous classes.

  • 8:30AM-9:30AM PST Slow Mindful Yoga. An hour of energizing yet mindful postures to strengthen the body, free tightness with a gentle approach for all ages and all abilities.
